Search and filter helpers based on your criteria
Filter for Job start date is important as it indicates when the helper's contract is ending. 4 weeks before their contract end is ideal.
Contact and Schedule Interview via Direct Message or WhatsApp
1. Work experience and skills.
2. Daily job expectations.
3. Salary, off days, and other work arrangements.
4. Job scope.
Communicate with Current Employer
Agree with current employer on
1. Transfer of helper and
2. Exact date of transfer
Submit Application to MOM
Visit MOM's site to request the current employer's consent for transfer. At least 30 days before Work Permit expires.
If you are a first time employer, you will require to attend Employer's Orientation Programme 2 working days before submission of application.
Upon receiving In Principle Approval (from MOM)
1. Buy mandatory maid insurance (20% off)
2. Print & sign the Declaration form from MOM with you and your incoming helper.
3. Print & sign the Employment Contract and Safety Agreement.
Arrange the Transfer & Issue the Work Permit
1. On the transfer date, log in to MOM’s FDW eService to issue the new Work Permit & Upload the Declaration Form.
2. Print the Temporary Work Permit, while waiting for the official Work Permit card. Her current Work Permit will be auto cancelled by MOM.
Post-Transfer
1. Go for a medical check-up within two weeks of starting if she hasn’t done so with the previous employer. Do at any clinic.
2. Pay the monthly levy for her employment via MOM site.
