I’m Merryjoy, 32 years old, single, and without children. I have been working in Singapore for eight years with two employers.

My first employer was a British family, where I worked for six years as their second helper, caring for two children. My responsibilities included general housekeeping, picking up and dropping off the children at school and tuition, and arranging playdates and playground visits.

My second employer was a British-Chinese family, where I worked for two years, taking care of one child and two small dogs. My duties included general household chores, grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, ironing, dog walking and feeding, as well as picking up and dropping off the child at school and tuition, and arranging playdates.
